Our Christmas Eve this year was really un-traditional.
We spent the day running errands and cleaning our house for Christmas day. I know that's really festive. We're all about festivities around here.
After we had finished our festivities, we continued in our very strict traditional values and headed downtown to EggSpectation. There, we wined and dined on french toast (or as Andy so kindly put it later in the evening - a white trash meal. Which I think is false. But I digress...).
After dinner, we went and saw Sherlock Holmes.
I made a huge movie faux pas and texted during the beginning of the movie. But in my defense, it was important Christmas-y things. So get off my back movie Scrooges.
After Sherlock (which, btw, was not as good as the first although that's not shocking), we raced home to get on Skype with Holland's family. We were up way too late Skyping with them for 8:30 am church in the morning, but we had a lot of fun, the least of which was opening up our Secret Santa gifts.
Although it wasn't a traditional Christmas Eve, we had a wonderful day and were very excited to wake up the next day for Christmas (even though we had to wake up for 8:30 church).

I actually liked the second Sherlock Holmes more than the first. Have I told you that before? Oh well.
